Long time Facebook users probably remember a time where they would install fake software that claimed to give you a dislike button add-on. Although Facebook officially launched its Emoji reactions not too long ago, it seems the media company has been pushed even further to give users a means to express disdain.

This doesn’t seem like fake news, as a reliable tech culture reporter confirmed the testing. It looks like Facebook is taking a page out of Reddit’s book.

Perhaps more users on Facebook will gain this ability if the development team decides whether or not the downvote feature is beneficial to such an established online community.
