Mark Zuckerburg has high aspirations for Facebook this year. In Facebook’s latest pres release, he goes into what the social media conglomerate is doing to improve the FB user experience.

“In 2018, we’re focused on making sure Facebook isn’t just fun to use, but also good for people’s well-being and for society.” Zuckerburg said on Facebook’s Investor Relations affiliate.

“Already last quarter, we made changes to show fewer viral videos to make sure people’s time is well spent. In total, we made changes that reduced time spent on Facebook by roughly 50 million hours every day.” Zuckerburg continued.

It seems Facebook’s goals in 2018 to improve our global society are off to a right start, as they seem to have our best intentions in mind.
