The city of Fort Worth, Texas ended January by helping out the homeless population in the community. City officials are implementing a new plan to pay homeless people up to $10 an hour to help solve the problem of litter and pollution.

“It just makes you feel better keeping it cleaned up,” Frank Crist, a 53 year old homeless person told NBC DFW. “It means a lot. I mean, with my record and stuff, I really had no other place that would hire me.”
