Normally frozen ice area in northern hemisphere shatters near Greenland

According to reports on the Guardian, climate change poses a grave threat to polar regions in the northern hemisphere, as “the last ice area” began to melt. This area north of Greenland notoriously remains frozen, even throughout the summer. Unfortunately, rising global temperatures have caused this ice region to break up, making it more susceptible to tidal movement.
